On October 9, 2025, at the People’s Committee of Phu Vinh Commune, Dong Nai Province, a meeting was held to implement the plan for establishing a Production and Export Linkage Chain for agricultural products, focusing on green bananas as the key export commodity of the locality.
The meeting aimed to concretize Plan No. 143/KH-LM dated September 4, 2025 of the Dong Nai Cooperative Alliance, with the goal of developing a sustainable agricultural linkage model for the 2021–2025 period, thereby enhancing the value and competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products in global markets.

Meeting Highlights
During the working session, the participants discussed and agreed on the plan to establish a comprehensive linkage chain connecting farmers, plantation areas, packaging facilities, and purchasing enterprises, with the local government providing key support throughout the process.
Notably, Mr. Dang Quy Nhan, Representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Import-Export Association, and Mr. Pham Van Xo, Chairman of the Association, offered many practical and strategic proposals to foster the development of Phu Vinh’s banana sector.
Mr. Dang Quy Nhan emphasized the importance of ensuring a stable supply of high-quality fertilizers that meet international standards, combined with flexible payment methods suitable for farmers’ financial capacity. These measures aim to reduce production costs while improving productivity and product quality.
Meanwhile, Mr. Pham Van Xo shared valuable insights into export operations and logistics, and proposed solutions for improving infrastructure, electricity, water, and storage systems, ensuring that the entire value chain—from farm to global market—operates efficiently and sustainably.
In addition, Mr. Ma Chi Hieu, representative of DLS GLOBAL COMPANY LIMITED, highlighted the company’s commitment to supporting Phu Vinh’s green banana export chain through supply chain coordination, international market connections, and export consultancy. His participation underscored the essential role of private enterprises in bridging local agricultural production with the global marketplace.
The contributions from all delegates reflected not only deep technical and practical knowledge, but also a strong spirit of collaboration and responsibility from the business and export communities in supporting the sustainable growth of Vietnam’s agricultural sector.
Future Directions
The Phu Vinh green banana product line is expected to continue expanding in international markets.
The People’s Committee of Phu Vinh Commune will further coordinate with relevant units to refine technical processes, legal documentation, and quality monitoring mechanisms, while also enhancing communication and technical training for local farmers on planting area standards, traceability, and export market requirements.
With the united efforts of local authorities, enterprises, associations, and farmers, the Phu Vinh green banana is expected to reach new heights globally, affirming the reputation of Dong Nai’s agricultural products and contributing to the sustainable development of the local agricultural economy.
